What is freedom?

What is freedom? Some might said that freedom is something that will make us happy however from my view of point, freedom is free from any obstacle and only could be attained by death. Freedom is can be divided by 3 main common things that people used to say such as free, happy and money.

Free, almost anyone wanted to be free.it like a dream or a goal for those who have locked inside the room or prisoner. Free is often symbolize as a bird.

People always think that bird is free, they can fly anywhere they want in this world if they got their wings. However that is not true, in order to archive freedom they must face a harder suffering to get on their current state now.

Happy is also a freedom from my point of view that is because we do whatever we want when we are happy. Parent always said that they sacrifice their future for our sake but they will be happy when we are on the age of success and take it care when we were young as well. Parent happiness also our or the children happiness as well.

Last but not least is money. Money is also form of freedom but it also the root of all evil. Money can gain infinite freedom because they can go wherever they want and buy everything their want just with money such as House, Cars, Phones even women and many more. The reason why I said money is money is a figure or a symbol that everyone look to. Every day the reason why they work is money. If they already the money why should they work?

In the nutshell, Freedom is about something that can make you free, happy also money can give you free as well. Freedom can be change according to a person perception. If the person has a good intention then he/her freedom might be good as well however do not judge a book by its cover, The person you might think is nice maybe the real deal so becareful.

WORLD HIJAB DAY

World Hijab Day is an event that takes place on February 1 every year. This event was celebrated in 2013 for the first time. World Hijab Day was founded by Nazma Khan and the purpose of this event is to encourage all Muslim and non-Muslim women to wear hijab and gain experience about the hijab .

Other than that, the objective of World Hijab Day is to allay some of the myths and controversies among the Muslim women that choose to wear the hijab. She especially felt the call to bring the message having experienced “being the odd one out” since her school days after her family moved from Bangladesh to the United States, when she was 11-years-old.

The message had been spread through the social media and attracted all the women in the world including non-Muslim women. There are more than 50 appointed World Hijab Day ambassadors from 20 countries. And, Malaysia has a total of 7 ambassadors.

Two Chinese women from Malaysia namely Carol Lee, Mrs Universe 2013 who is said to endorsed the movement of the event in Malaysia and also Felixia Yeap, the ex-Playboy bunny and model shared her story on wearing the hijab.

In other words, World Hijab Day provides support for the hijabi girls to vocalize their opinion.

Global Warming

One of the biggest problems facing the world today is global warming. Many scientists believe that our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases is having a heating effect on the atmosphere, and this could be very dangerous for human life. This essay will examine the problem of global warming and suggest some ways of solving the problem.

Global warming is the warming near the earth's surface those results when the earth's atmosphere traps the sun's heat. The earth is getting warmer. The changes are small, so far, but they are expected to grow and speed up. Within the next fifty to one hundred years, the earth may be hotter than it has been in the past million years. As oceans warm and glaciers melt, land and cities along coasts may be flooded. Heat and drought may cause forests to die and food crops to fail. Global warming will affect weather everywhere, plants and animals everywhere, people everywhere; people are warming the earth's atmosphere by burning fuels, cutting down forest, and by taking part in other activities that release certain heat trapping goes into the air

Unfortunately, burning fossil fuels is not the only thing that we humans are doing to increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In many parts of the world today, forest are being destroyed at an alarming rate. Enormous numbers of trees are being cut down, both to provide timber and to clear the land for farming or ranching. This destructive process is called deforestation. In order to clear forests for agriculture, people cut down and burn all the trees in area. When the flames die down, nothing is left but acres of blackened, lifeless countryside. The fire destroys all the plants and kills or drives off the animals. Because there has been little attempt to replant trees in deforested areas, the world's forests are disappearing very quickly.

Deforestation makes the problem of the greenhouse effect worse in two ways. When trees are burned, carbon dioxide is released into the air. Some researchers think that the large-scale burning of forests around the world adds at least one billion tons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere each year. But deforestation does more than just add carbon dioxide into the air.To also eliminates countless numbers of carbon dioxide-absorbing trees from the environment. As fewer and fewer trees are left to take up carbon dioxide, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases faster and faster.

Many problems could result from global warming. One of the biggest problem is the rising of sea level. This could result in the flooding of low lying coatal areas and cities, such as Egypt, the Netherlands, and Bangladesh. Some countries might even disappear completely! Another problem caused by global warming is the changes in weather patterns. Many areas of the world are experiencing increased hurricanes, floods, and other unusual weather. A third problem associated with global warming is the effect on the animals. Fish population could be affected, while some insects which spread disease might become more common.

There are several things we can do to solve the problem of global warming. One solution is to stopproducing C02. We can do this by switching from oil, coal and gas to renewable energy. Another solution is to plant more trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, which is not agreen house gas. A third solution is to use less energy and to recycle more products. Generatingelectricity is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide. If we use less electricity, we will produce less C02. In conclusion, if we make small changes now in the way we live, we can avoid huge changes in the future. Scientists, governments and individuals must work together to overcome this threat.

Is it better for mothers to stay at home and not work ?

Governments all over the word are encouraging education and are trying to remove
barriers to education. As more and more women are also getting an education there are
greater employment opportunities for women.

In spite of this, there is greater need for women to stay home and be homemakers. Young children
and the growing needs of families require the attention of mothers. If women are to spend eight
hours each day at work, then the children, especially the very young ones would have to be left at day care centers, nurseries or with maids. In some instances,
young children are left with their grandparents or relatives, but this is not always possible

It cannot be denied that mothers are the pillars of strength in any family.
If they give up their role as home makers and thrust it to others, such as maids,
then there may be some unpleasant consequences. In some cases, children have
been abused and in other cases, they have been greatly influenced by the maids,
who are usually foreigners. They would not only have to learn the language of the maids,
but would also be susceptible to picking up their mannerisms. They would also
be open to some customs and practices of the maids.

As it is expensive to hire maids, in some cases children are left in the care of others,
who may exert a negative influence on the children’s upbringing. It is therefore
imperative that mothers should stay at home to care for their children,
especially during the crucial period of their growth. Furthermore, mothers would be
able to guide and supervise their children in their daily routines and therefore
stand out as role models to them. When mothers stay at home, they will able to
mould their children better.

It is said that generation of tomorrow depends on the mothers of today. Social ills and
other social cultural problems, faced by both young children and teenagers could be
erad cated, if mothers stay at home and not go to work. They will be able to
devote more time and care for their families. Strong families depend on their mothers.

"I will never die" - Mona Fandey

The year was 1993 and witchcraft was on every Malaysian's lips, Maznah Ismail (1956 - 2 November 2001), better known as Mona Fandey has struck a new time low with her new found infamy over the death of Mazlan Idris, a state assemblyman for the constituency of Batu Talam in the state of Pahang.

There was a moment in time far back in the late 1980's, Mona Fandey was a household name with numerous hit songs during the phase in her life she was a successful Malaysian pop singer that were both sensible to the public and also endearing as a public moral campaign.

However, as time goes by and her fame begins to falter, Mona rediscovers herself entranced by witchcraft and the supernaturals. The then pop star was now a practitioner of the black arts. The transition was not quite acceptable by her fans and family, but the ordeal was not fully despised. The outcome of her new career was an encounter with immense fear and shock to the entire general public, the path she took was the path to her own hubris.

On Jul 22 1993, after he had gone missing when trying to boost his political career with the aid of Mona and associates, Datuk Mazlan Idris was found chopped 18 parts and buried in a store room in Mona's house in Pahang. On the day of his disappearance, it is reported he withdrawn RM 300,000 from a bank. Basing on the official news report, it is said that Mona and co had demanded RM 2.5 million. Mazlan paid the couple RM 500,000 as deposit, and gave them 10 land titles as surety for the remaining RM 2 million. What is also known about this case is the involvement of black magic rituals for a supposed "invincibility" talisman for Datuk Mazlan to obtain major support for political gain.

The paper trail that led to the capture of Mona Fandey was due to her, again, own hubris when she decided to go shopping spree where she bought a Mercedes-Benz and had a facelift. This eventually sparked a full on investigation onto the infamous bomoh for the upperclassmen. What was discover throughout the investigation was the hideous nature of a former pop singer to achieve stardom again. She insisted the murder was an accident that was caused by Datuk Mazlan's incompetence to stay in the ritual taboo, and so to dispose the body and cover the accident, she, her husband Mohd Affandi Abdul Rahman and their assistant Juraimi Hassan decided to cconduct the gruesome deed of dismembering the state assemblyman to 18 parts and bury him.

The trial of Mona Fandey and co received international and national fame, polarized stance led to Anti-death penalty movements including Amnesty International voiced their opposition to the execution of the trio. The verdict was done, the trio is hanged. What was found curious about the pre-dawn execution of the trio, Mona and her assistant Juraimi were calm and collected, not a single shred of remorse was reflected on their face. Truly stone cold. The trial and case of Mona and co not only led a fear about the practice of black magic amongst the top society, it actually spawn numerous tv and film adaption. It also led to the state of morality between murder and fame, similar to the life of Mona Fandey.

Mona Fandey, from famed and morally correct pop singer, dies a notorious murderess in the bounds of black magic. When the star falls, the burn.

The use of technology in schools is a very controversial

The use of technology in schools is a very controversial topic. Some people think technology will ruin the school environment. Others think technology will improve education and make learning more enjoyable. Although distractions may be a side effect of technology, I believe technology can provide copious amounts of new learning. Learning can go places it never has been before. Students can interact with other students and teachers locally and around the world, decrease the amount of paper used, and lighten the load of the backpack if both the teachers and students are committed to learning and using new technology.

Technology is helpful in the learning environment. School boards have been hesitant to accept technology. They are worried technology will interfere with learning and cause distractions. Although some technology may cause distractions, technology is more helpful than harmful. That, of course, may change. But regardless for many kids right now, especially at the lower end of the income scale, these devices arr their only connections to thr content and people who can help them learn great things. We need to leverage that. Technology has become a major part of people's lives. People have started using laptops, phones, tablets, and many other devices without even thinking. Why should school be any different? Kids switch from a technology driven world to an old-fashioned school day. School should be preparing students for the real world. If the real world is filled with technology, schools should be teaching students how to use technology properly.

A counter-argument is technology cause too many distraction for thr students to be able to learn. Although iPads and phones have apps and messaging that can become a distraction, I believe that a majority of students would choose to interact in the learning process if the teacher was using hands-on technology and making the lesson fun for the students. If the teacher is willing to learn how to properly incorporate technology into learning and is adamantly trying to engage the students in the lesson, I believe the temptation of distractions will decrease.

In conclusion, technology is an ideal tool in the learning environment. Some people belive that technology in the classroom will ruin the learning environment. But after research, I have found more positive feedback towards the use of technology in the classroom than negative feedback. The use of technology in schools can allow students to interact with other students and teachers around the world and locally, decrease the abundant amount of paper wasted, and lighten a studen's backpack if both the teacher and students are willing to commit to learning and using technology properly in the classroom.
